ok. time for a break

i just had one of my worst machinery moments. about 3 minutes ago I broke off a sparkplug on one of our generators. the porclain part is where it snapped off, below the hex-bolt and above the thread. I've no idea what 'fixing it' is going to look like.
I somehow feel like I shouldn't be allowed to finish work (in 15 minutes) with things in such a state. ugh. how horrible. it's like.. like.. worse than breaking a key off in a lock, 'cause you can't replace this lock!

sigh. not the best of days. this whole week has been a little off-kilter. i got a speed-violation ticket on the 2nd (wednesday). stupid of me, and a super way of getting me to 'mellow out'. felt like the most irresponsible, dangerous, brash, idiotic kid in the city. that is.. until i got to school and talked with my classmates who have all had.. numerous tickets. i feel a little better now. still driving like a cop is sitting next to me in the car though.

aaand. oh. one cool thing about this week. I had a birthday yesterday. skipped school, ate breakfast with my brother david, and went hiking in the whittier hills with him and his two sons (Espen and Able). That was cool, and nice.

Yeah. so i guess that's a long enough rest from that tragedy sparkplug. time to get back to trying to break-off all the other ones. (joking, i just need to take them out)

I totally forgot and I feel like a jerk. I hope you have better days in the future. It's the weekend! Yahoo!

So, what happened to the broken off sparkplug?
