So I saw "Superman Returns" in 3D in the IMAX theatre on Sunday. !! It was very enjoyable and I'd recommend it! I will say that Superman doesn't behave in the "all good" way that he tends to convey, but rather misbehaves a bit in his silences and his smiles. Maybe I'll get some flak for saying that. (c: It's great having such a strong moral character presented to our somewhat morally ambiguous society though. Of course, the evil vs. good in the movie is pretty clean of dilemmas. And superman is an alien, so that is a difference from the common man. Ah well.

Saturday I gave blood with my cousin. What could have been a 15 minute deal ended up being an hour because of a few questions that I was asked. 1) What countries have you been to in the last 3 years? Oh man. That was about Malta, or Italy so I'll start there... Croatia, Albania, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Western Europe.. etc.. 2) Have you ever been to Africa and if so, where? Oh man oh man.. That was before the 3 year mark.. uh.. Cameroon, Gabon, Nigeria, Ghana.. etc.. And for each of the countries, the nurse had to ask, "Did you recieve any blood transfusions there? Did you..." That as well as look them up on the database to see what risks are associated with each country. By the time we got through the questions, I was wondering "how much is a pint of my blood worth, anyway? Is it worth the time we spent just getting to it?" So I qualified to give blood despite the travels! That should make it easier when I go in to donate again in August.

Superman II is the origin of the Lois Lane/ Superman philandering. I felt the pain a little bit watching the movie, too, though. I was like, Superman can't have done that!
Ah well...
Whatever! Obviously, you haven't watched much Smallville. :)
Just kidding, I don't know if he's done anything scandalous in that show. It's been ages since I've seen it last.
