a respite

Now in Germany, at OM Ship's Headquarters. I've been here once before and it is amazing how well my memory served me in getting me from the train station to the OM office. Mirjam Dvorjak is here, and it has been great catching up with her. She was in my K-Group on the ship (false family group.. sorta like a fellowship group or a cell group). She's leaving today for Austria and I leave today to go back to Amsterdam to make my flight back (to Atlanta, then Detroit for the weekend, and Sunday evening back to LA).

I feel pretty lively and energized with all this travelling. (c: I think I'm also just adjusting to the sleep schedule and such... just in time too, 'cause tomorrow I fly back. heh. Ah yes.

My German classes from a couple semesters ago have been helpful. I really would like to learn another language well (which probably means moving to the country to study the language for something like a year). It seems I may be able to get university credits for theological studies as a result of my time on the ship from a well known South African theological school. That will be helpful and good.

To finish, here's a couple pictures of the wedding...

If you haven't bought your black DS yet, I heard a rumour they were going to be made available in the US. Might want to wait on that
