Yes, it was then, not now.. and it sure did pass quickly.
So this past weekend was spent in Michigan with my siblings. I had a really great time just sitting and listening to their lives, and stories, and their thoughts. It was also very nice to see all 13 of my external neices and nephews. I say 'external' because there is one internal one who resides in the womb of Joy.
I'm back in Los Angeles and so far haven't suffered much from jet-lag. The family get-together helped keep me in a regular schedule and slightly tired. (really it was a good thing!) And, since I've been here, work has kept me in a normal schedule as well.
I was tempted to write some random sentences that have gone through my head recently, but I'll spare you, Reader. At least, for a little while.
What is coming up on the horizon? Feels like something big, but nothing is actually in sight. Work. Weekends. Work... fellowship. That's about it. Christmas time promises more movement but I'll remark on that later, as it happens or after the fact.
I decided to start drinking tea again. Today. I'm thinking of a routine: Coffee when I wake up -espresso or cappucino. And then through the rest of the day (after the coffee has truly faded); Tea.
Lest anyone think that I'm still a runner, I say now, "I am not a runner." I haven't run in quite a while. Looking forward to making efforts to get back into it soon though.

The things that keep me running are:
1. The good feeling of being fit.
2. Not having to worry about what I eat.
3. Knowing I can consistently do hard stuff if I want to.
4. Seeing improvement after consistent effort.
5. My annual physical fitness tests.
6. My ego.
As long as you still drink coffee next time we meet up.
Cool to see a photo of Flavio and Cinzia! Thx for that.
Cool trip you had through Europe. How are the Swizz guys doing?
