That's not much of a picture... This is why I didn't save my first picture taken with my camera. Too embaressing. First picture taken after reading the manual would be a good one though I think...
Peter, I love how candid you are. I know it's not much of a picture, but it was better than revealing my geek side by making my first picture from a LAN party that I was at (and actually just going home from when I took this picture).
What I like about the picture: It's simple, really almost two tone (black and orange), is pretty horizontal, and has lines that compliment that (the crosswalk).. has an object that is an extension of myself (my car) so it is personalized a bit. All together, I'm happy with the picture. For a first picture, that is. May all the ones that follow be better.

What's the thing on the right? Is that a person running?
if you click on the picture you'll get a much larger version... and it doesn't look like a person. looks like a street sign.
