stomping grounds?
We just now got back from a quick visit to Gingoog, where I grew up for about 8 or 9 years of my life. It was really special to see all the people and the familiar areas. I took some pictures, which I'll put up some other time (as the internet here is quite slow still.. the whole earthquake/taiwan/undersea cables thing.) People I got to see: Pastor Cezar and his family (growing up quite beautifully), Anga and Jojet, Ate Edna, Dra. Mortiz and family, Hazel and her family, Mrs. Espiritu and Menchu. Saw but was not able to talk to Gari and Micheal who lived near our Marang St. house. They were at Nang Narda's place. Everything there is green and wet, as they've been getting rain all December. I don't want to wait so long before my next visit.

Luke, I've posted comments on your blog twice now this week without it showing up. What gives?
You are fortunate to get to go back there. I think I may get to go back to the Maledives eventually, and hopefully go scuba diving and such.
