NASA says that one unusual thing from the storms this past year, and by storms I mean hurricanes, is that they've had a lot of electrical energy i.e. lightning stuff. This is a picture from space of one of those hurricanes.

thanks jonathan, as you may suspect, I actually really liked the picture, and thought the content where i found it to be valid justification for putting the picture on my blog. (c: heh.
one thing i hadn't thought of is how people might react negatively to something so beautiful because, afterall, it is a hurricane and such have destroyed hundreds of thousands (nay millions?) of lives in this past year. Hm.. way for me to be understanding. dc:
