Electricity is strange. I think that we aren't really sure about it yet. We know how to use it, and how to make it do work, but there's some things about it that are almost willful in nature.
Case in point; on our campus we are putting in a new building for the School of Business. While digging they encountered a high voltage line and damaged it. It worked for a few hours after, and then caught fire, then was put out. No trouble's there, and nothing really extraordinary. Very natural. What is un-natural is that shortly after putting the fire out, on the opposite side of campus three buildings lost THEIR power. ?! They were on a different electrical path and everything.. very weird.
The cause for them losing power was an old line that decided to burn up. Lines burning up is alright, they have lifespans and this one was up, but the timing is weird. Too weird.
So that was on Thursday. Friday was a catch-up day for all the things that didn't get done on the day before, and Saturday was a bit of chaos. Yep, I worked Saturday. Our newly installed aircompressors that had been working so mightily and well this past month and a half decided to take a break. The loss of compressed air had a number of bad effects, of the worst was the lack of proper emissions testing. The emissions testing equipment is something I know little of, and hardly know how to trouble-shoot... but when all seemed lost, I think God stepped in and brought things back in order (with my fumbling hands). halelujah I'm not fired. Prayer, what a remarkable thing. God, what can be said about Him that would give him due glory? Words escape me.

I remember now as well what has contributed to my not posting. On Friday I had some troublesome car trouble. So I had to shuffle up cars with my cousin Phil and my grandparents (which is to whom the car I'm currently using belongs).

Based on my research into astral projection spiritual entities directly interact with electricity. There is also another phenomenon I've heard of where certain types of people make electrical items around them go wonky, especially when they are having alot of emotion. Stuff like that might account for the willful nature of electricity. In some way it directly connects to the spiritual realm (assuming all my sources aren't crack smoking).
Uh oh, Luke, what have you been emoting about?
