another one

a friend of mine just started up a blog. Hava looksee. I'll add her to the sidebar soon enough (proly on the weekend).

Running is still going well. I'm up to 1.25 of a mile in 10 mins and that's not going to change for a while. I still love sprinting, but don't have the muscle type developed for it. Dream of mine is to actually sprint a mile in 4-5 mins. Heh.

Big day tomorrow, cousin G is getting married! Is quite exciting. She's the excellent haircutter who has refined my outward appearance not so long ago.

I am eliminating my 'music blog' as it has fallen into disuse. Further ravings about music will rear their ugly heads on this blog, so brace yourselves dear readers.

And on that note, I really love and enjoy Delirious' two cd set (cutting edge). It is simple, unassuming worship, that also carries a feeling of being genuine (less practiced) than much other music out there. It does not detract from the purpose of worship. Also great is Tree63, though their lyrics could almost be considered cliche' by their simplicity. Almost. I'll include their song "sacrifice":

Before Your people worshipped You
You said that something had to die
And as they brought their sacrifice You heard their cries

Before Your children could come home
You said that something had to die
And as You brought Your sacrifice
We heard You cry

You know what it's like to give it up
You know how it feels to let go
You know what it's like to take it forget forsake it
To raise Your head and cry

It's all for You
(Father) It's all for You
I live for You
(Father) I die for You

I know that You can hear my voice
Because Your servant paid the price
But there is silence in my mouth and I can't cry

So as I come to worship You
I know that something has to die
And as I bring my sacrifice just let it die

You know what it's like against Your skin
You know how it feels beneath Your hands
You know how it is to carry so rough and heavy
And underneath to cry

Let me warn you that that friend of yours will be asking you a bunch of questions before she will convert her "baby-blog" into something that's actually worth seeing. (c: Well, time will tell...That is a song worth reflecting over by the way.

she can ask all the questions she likes!!! I'm more than happy to help out and will explain things over and over and over again until they make sense. Don't worry, I won't get tired or frustrated. (c:
