Well to start off, I find it amusing how empathetic this body of mine can be. A friend of mine just stopped by the Plant after working out a bit too hard. Said that he was feeling sick. Maybe he worked to hard. Felt like he was gonna barf. He then bid farewell (there was more to the conversation, but those bits are the parts that pertain) and left. I remained, but now with a strange nasuea in my own stomach. Silly body. It's gone now.
Cars.. ah. I forgot what I was going to write. But now I remember! I had a flat tire this past weekend (friday). It's all patched up and works fine now. Maybe this can be a reminder to all of you out there, be grateful for the functioning things you have!! Take it for granted, but once in a while.. don't.
And business. Today an idea in my mind crystalized a bit more and here's as best as I can describe it: If I were to start a business/service/product, I would want it to kill some other industry. Totally eliminate it. That's a pretty vicious way of looking at it, but I think that is what 'revolutionary' things are nowadays. Take transport for example. Nearly everyone in California uses cars. The freeways are really amazing and beautiful constructs... but imagine (without the nerdy feeling, if you can) if you could simply teleport to another location. Cars? Useless. Freeways, gone. Gas? Hmph. I suppose then cars and such would merely be used to tote large loads. I like the idea of how absolutely it would destroy an industry and transform our consumer habits. It's that kind of absolute transformation that I'd like to make if I were to start or be involved with a a new business/service/product.

Part of the reason for the business statement, is because I don't want to shop out 'just another accessory'. there are so many accesories out there.. and I think most of them, well, we could do without. It's cluttery, and vain. I'm tired of it.
The enviros (myself included) would love if you.
You could start a business smashing windows. That would totally eliminate windows, if you had enough employees.
Eric, I think you mis-understand. If I could make cheap indestructable windows, then the entire window making industry would be destroyed. heh. now THAT is more like how I'd like it. (indestructable being a somewhat relative term... rock, smack and shatter proof. nuclear bombs would probably still prevail over them).
