I had a great dinner tonight. Thanks myself for making it. It was so good. The noodles were perfect, my nose wept. And the rice couldn't have been better. I do wish I had some soy sauce though. Next time na lang. Kimchi on the rice made it all better. Mmmm!
So today at work I shoveled sand. Nasty nasty sand. Sand in itself is generally not fun to do work in or with. By "work" I mean real work. I could work at making a sandcastle or perfecting my handstand/handspring, but that really is.. play. And today it was definitely work. To add to the troublesome-ness of it all, this was very nasty sand. We have a pool here at the University, and we use sand filters to clean the water. The sand needs to be changed out every.. oh, about 10 or more years. So TEN years worth of sunscreen, body-oil, skin, hair, etc... (you-name-it-small-particles) are in that sand. Yum. It takes two strong men (like me!) a day of hard work to clean out the old sand.
My cousin Philip got wed last Saturday. It was really, really well done. What a beautiful couple. (c:

After dealing with that nasty sand, you deserved a good bowl of Korean noodles and kimchi! I had lunch with Elena the other day at her Korean neighbor's and it was great! Veggies and stuff on sticky rice with a fried egg and that red chili paste! I mentioned that my two youngest sons would really have appreicated this meal. :-)
"Thanks myself"? You're too funny, Luke.
Hey, way to go on shoveling sand. At least you didn't have to be sitting by yourself reading blogs on the computer in the powerplant...right? ;)
