This week now past pt.1

This past week has been a highlight of the the summer! I flew up north to San Jose on Saturday morning (now two weeks ago), and was received at the airport by Lem. Here's me waiting at the airport:

We then met up with Joy P., had lunch and went to see Transformers (which we'd all held off seeing until we were together). Fun movie! After a late night, we got up, had some studies in Philippians, and were joined with Kari as we ventured into Great America! "GA" is Paramount Pictures' Theme park with a lot of roller-coasters and rides, plus a waterpark, and other lesser forms of entertainment. We had a blast and were mostly worn out by the end of the day. Here's some pictures of our time at GA.
These are on the ride that splashes.

Lem likes to act like he controls the water.
Here's a couple pictures from the "largest Carousel in America."

Gunfire was exchanged. As well as grenades, rockets from rocket launchers, and number of other dangerous things, despite which we all managed to survive.
Here's a picture of the group as we left the park at about sunset.

We did a bit of driving around afterwards and Joy cooked a delicious curry for us to enjoy. (c:
In the morning I began the next phase of my trip, that is, flying to Albuquerque, New Mexico for the bachelor party and wedding of Will K. and Sarah B. (now K.).
