A quick "at home" post

So I'm at home for dinner and am waiting for the rice cooker to finish steaming the rice. I went shopping at the local Korean market and bought some great Jasmine rice, soy sauce, and rolled oats. The first two are for dinners, and the latter is for breakfasts. (I'll be returning to my oats, milk, etc.. breakfasts soon.)

I've been realizing that I really don't get enough to eat. No surprise to some of you who know me well. (c: So I'm going to renew my efforts towards eating enough. Hardy breakfasts, meaty lunches, and vegetable and rice (and maybe more meat) for dinner, oh boy! Dinner is the hardest to cook for because I only have around a half-hour at home.

As a comparison.. I normally have some tea for breakfast, maybe something for lunch (about 50% chance) sometimes that is a cup of orange juice and a cup of milk, and a bowl of noodles for dinner. So getting to eat meals with people is the ultimate because it's guaranteed, and I enjoy the fellowship.

Well, I think my rice might be about done. Not much other news. Surfing has been a blast. I need to catch up in class. No travel plans as yet. Aannnd... that it!

I remember the epiphany I had when I realized that I feel better when I eat regularly. It was kind of a surprise, but not really. Once I started having kids, I really had to eat no matter what. Maybe you could cook double, and then heat it up later. That takes off some pressure.
