Sleep and a worthy article

Sleep seems to be a remarkably hot topic on the internet. All kinds of ideas of when, how, etc.. but I thought this article was remarkably good about how and why to become an early riser. (i.e. wake up early as a morning person). I went running this morning and was struck with how GREAT it is to see the early morning sun, feel the wind, and as a result I felt very alive. True, I'm tired now, but on a regular schedule it should be fantastic. I felt like I had so much time after I'd run (at 6am). Ahh.. so great. I exclaimed to my grandma how astonished I was at the amount of 'free time' I had. I'm looking forward to this change.

I am currently following the guy's advice. At some point I'd like to try the uberman sleep cycle too.

That's some great advice. It makes sense, too. Not hitting the snooze button, that's a habit that will be hard to break though. A method that also works for me (and I hope it doesn't sound too corny) is before I go to bed, I ask God to gently wake me up at a specific time. I don't do it every day, but on times when I've been without an alarm clock (power outtage, camping, business trips when my body clock is off-whack anyway), it's worked. Its silly isn't it? Maybe that's an easier prayer to answer than most or something :-). Enjoy the morning runs!
